Michelle Law born and raised in Washington DC, is the oldest daughter of her five siblings. She began her journey in Healthcare Administration after graduating from Dunbar Senior High School. Considering careers in Cosmetology and Design, Michelle learned early on her ability to easily connect and inspire people. She served 34 years at Kaiser Permanente in several Leadership roles, sharing her gifts and talents executing major projects and building expectational teams. Michelle is known for leading and guiding with grace and delivering excellence in whatever she pursues. Following retirement in 2021 at the age of 55, she refocused her passions for design and organization into In My Shell Designs, LLC; a home interiors design studio assisting others with making their homes magical.

Michelle began her Christian journey in the 1990’s at Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church, under the Leadership of Pastors Daniel and Sabrina Mangrum, where she served on the Usher Board greeting and serving members with her genuine smile and love for God's people. Michelle is currently a member of Kingdom Fellowship AME Church, under the Founder and Visionary Senior Pastor Matthew L. Watley, located in Calverton, Maryland.  She’s an active participant in the Women’s Ministry and continues to build her faith and resilience through God’s grace and guidance. 

As the oldest sister of five siblings, she sets a strong example of perseverance with her “Go Get It” attitude. Regardless of her setbacks she endures and continues to hold on to her Grace and Faith in God. Michelle is inspired by her two children, LaToya and Maurice, and two grandsons, Adrian and Alexander, whom she adores and loves with all her heart and soul. She shares her Grace story, with the prayer that they remain encouraged and steadfast through life’s adversities.  Her prayer is that when they look back over her life, all they can say is “WOW”, what a remarkable woman and great person she is.
